More than just a non-profit organization, Fondasyon Mant Filo is an
inspired vision, the continuation of a deceased parent's positive legacy
WHO WE ARE
Mant Filo, Inc (dba Fondasyon Mant Filo) is charitable non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.
Based in Broward County, Florida, the organization intends to carry out philanthropic work in the Upper Artibonite area in Haiti, especially the historic city of Gonaives.
The organization was founded with the purpose of continuing the charitable work of our dear family hero, Philomise Fils-Aima affectionately named Mant Filo, whose kindness and generosity were well known among her peers in Gonaives before she passed.
WHAT WE DO
Fondasyon Mant Filo aims at improving the quality of life of young children in Gonaives and its neighboring areas through financial aid for academic purpose, and through fun and brain stimulating activities and programs that can help them learn positive social skills, acquire and practice critical thinking, build high self-esteem, increase self-confidence, and reach personal growth.

FMF Christmas Toy Giveaway
Fondasyon Mant Filo Inc. is hosting its First TOY GIVEAWAY events on December 21 and 22, 2021 respectively in La Croix Périsse and Guimby, two rural areas near Gonaives (Haiti), where a great number of underprivileged families reside.

FMF 2021-2022 Mentorship Program
The children in Gonaives need positive role models so they can truly inspire to become successful and respected citizens tomorrow.
To help bring those positive role models closer to the kids, we are launching in October of this year our Mentorship Program, which will consists of two phases or sessions. The program will be offered to preteens and teens (12 to 17-year old) already enrolled in secondary school.
Summer Camp 2021
During the summer vacation, from August 2nd to August 20th, Fondasyon Mant Filo, in collaboration with local organizations, Aji pou Chanje and RAFASGE, hosted its first annual Summer Camp in Gonaives.
Up to 100 kids from age 7 to age 15 took part in that exciting camp. If you had a chance to check our Facebook page, we must have seen how much fun the kids had. They had many opportunities also to learn from different volunteers and VIP guests.
We are looking forward to organizing our 2nd annual Summer Camp next year. Already, we putting a plan together and hope we could manage to increase the number of participants.
FMF 2021-2022 Scholarships Program
Fondasyon Mant Filo is happy to announce that it has recently rewarded its first series of Monicia Gedeon Scholarships to four children at secondary education level in Gonaives
These scholarships are both need-based and merit-based aid. During the registration process, we had primarily considered those kids going to seventh grade and whose parents have been facing tough financial problems and difficulties. We then held an academic contest for them and the four students who had the highest scores were selected as the winners.
The Foundation reaffirm its mission to continue to provide financial aid in the form of tuition payment to these four (4) students until they reach the last grade of secondary school, but they are required to maintain a minimum overall GPA of 70/100.
